Personally, I’m a Proud Father of 3 Amazing Children, Kessandra 32, Jonah 22, Amaya 16. Great Son to my Mom and Loving Brother to all 6 Brothers. In General a 100% Committed Family Man. I love my Friend and Family and I love helping people. Professionally, I Love what I do for a living because I believe in Love. When People are about to prove their love in the most amazing commitment (Marriage), I love to be part of that special day. They say when you love what you do for a living you don’t think of it as work. That’s how I feel every time I have any interaction or involvement with people planning the rest of their lives together and merging there families for life.

Why did you choose to DJ Weddings? 
As mentioned above. I love to be part of the most amazing day in a couples live. Their wedding day. I want it to be perfect and I commit 100% of my love and attention to this union.

What would be the most memorable moment of your DJ career?
There are so my over 30 years to mention just one would not be fair. I clearly remember the looks on the faces of the Brides and Grooms and their families. When they are truly in Love, it shows, when they are having a great time, it shows, when they hug you and tell how amazing you were and how thankful they are, you feel it and it shows. Those are the most memorable and I remember them all…

What is your fav song to pack the floor?
There isn’t one… over the years music changes. Sometime it’s the #1 song on the charts and other times it’s the song that is all about the Bride and Groom. Usually I get a feel for the people in the room at the moment and select a song based on a feeling.

What do you like about 617?
Jimmie Espo. No Joke. In the years I’ve been in the business, I started my own company, I’ve had opportunities to join with other companies. I’ve come to know the people in the business and it canbe rough. It is difficult to trust anyone. So whether it’s 617 Weddings + Events, 617 Weddings, Move It Music or the “ABC, 123 Company”. As long as Jimmie Espo is behind it – Let me say it again… “I’m In.”

We had Julio for our wedding 10/20/23 and from the moment we first chatted with him we just knew he was the DJ for us! He goes above and beyond for his brides and grooms, coming early to watch our ceremony and meet our guests so he could add personal touches later in the reception. He noticed a certain Taylor swift song was quoted during our ceremony and he played it later during dinner. Our guests were dancing all night long and he was great at reading the crowd and taking requests. He would wait to make sure me and my husband were in the room to play songs we asked for and if he saw that we got held up on our way to the dance floor, he kept that song going a little longer until we could get there. His energy was unmatched and he made our night so special. 10/10 you should hire Julio!

We worked with DJ Julio specifically who set up planning calls ahead of time and was very professional day of. He brought lighting with him to make our venue even more special. DJ Julio Sanabia from 617 Weddings was an absolute 10/10 - could not give a higher recommendation! Everything from the initial planning to the actual wedding was easy, professional, and detailed. When it is the biggest day of your life you want someone that has been there a million times before and he absolutely has. We gave him guidance on what we wanted to be played/not played and he took that and ran with it. Got the crowd pumped up and on the dance floor the entire night. Knows how to go off-the-cuff when needed. Again, couldn't recommend a DJ any more than Julio and 617 Weddings.

DJ Julio from 617 Weddings was the absolute best!!!! He made our wedding at The Commons 1854 in Topsfield a dream come true. Our guests have been raving about how much fun he was and what an amazing variety of songs were played to appeal to all generations. DJ Julio felt like my personal hype man all night and got everyone smiling and dancing the night away! Our photographer, John LoConte was also with 617 Weddings and was so thorough, patient, and kind. His experience at The Commons 1854 was beyond helpful- I know we have so many amazing shots and I cannot wait to see all of the finished photos! Also major kudos for his expertise in making sure my wedding train and veil were placed perfectly for our photos!! Everyone we spoke with from 617 Weddings was fantastic and so helpful. We worked with 617 Weddings for our DJ, Photography, Videography and Uplighting. Everything was absolutely perfect! Julio Sanabia was our DJ and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. He had our guests up dancing the entire night, and all we keep hearing about is how awesome of a time everyone had. If we could repeat the entire wedding process and day over again, we would definitely still go with 617 Weddings ! Not a doubt in my mind!

DJ Julio Sanabia was absolutely amazing!! Our guests were on the dance floor before dinner was even served. He was very professional during our planning sessions and really got to know my husband and I and what type of music we wanted him to play. We wanted our first dance to be a mix between 3 songs and he sent us several versions that he worked on so it was just right for our big day! He really went the extra mile. He also brought a screen to show pictures that had been taken at the church as well as through the rest of the night. This was a very nice added touch! We highly recommend DJ Julio of 617 Weddings!
